Astrology first found me at around fourteen, when I came across a book by Lisa Morpurgo (Introduction to Astrology) lying around at home. A new and mysterious world suddenly opened before me, a world that others seemed unaware of, and which therefore felt even more intensely mine. From that moment on, astrology took me by the hand, and we have never left each other since. My early studies unfolded through books, workshops, and seminars with astrologers from different traditions and approaches. No matter how far life seemed to carry me in other directions, astrology always found its way back to me. Yet, it took many years, and a Saturn Return, before I fully acknowledged the importance of that early encounter and enrolled at the Faculty of Astrological Studies in London, founded in 1948, where some of the most influential figures in contemporary astrology were formed, including Liz Greene, Howard Sasportas and Melanie Reinhart. The programme gave me a solid foundation in both technical practice and symbolic interpretation, shaping my rigour and method. Yet I still consider myself a student of astrology, and likely always will. I see astrology as a living system, and my practice as something that continues to grow through study, experience, encounters and deep listening. I am often asked whether I consider myself a humanistic, Jungian, evolutionary, or intuitive astrologer, among the many possible labels. Astrology is already whole in itself, it does not need to borrow legitimacy from other disciplines. For this reason, I am not interested in defining myself as a particular “type” of astrologer, since labels tend to limit what is, instead, a living and constantly evolving relationship with this discipline. Astrology has been a great companion throughout my life, and what it has given me so generously is something I try to share with others.

L'incontro con l'astrologia è avvenuto all'incirca a quattordici anni, quando trovai in casa un libro di Lisa Morpurgo (Introduzione all'astrologia). Un mondo nuovo e ricco di mistero si apriva di fronte a me, un mondo che gli altri sembravano non conoscere e per questo ancora più mio. È stato in quel momento che l'Astrologia mi ha presa per mano e non ci siamo più lasciate. I miei primi studi sono stati da autodidatta attraverso letture, workshops e seminari con astrologi provenienti da orientamenti e tradizioni diverse. Ogni qual volta la vita mi portava altrove, l'Astrologia tornava sempre, determinata e ostinata. Ci sono voluti molti anni e un Ritorno di Saturno, affinché riconoscessi pienamente il valore di quell'incontro, iscrivendomi al corso di studi della Faculty of Astrological Studies di Londra, fondata nel 1948, dove si sono formati alcuni tra i nomi più influenti dell’astrologia contemporanea, tra cui Liz Greene, Howard Sasportas e Melanie Reinhart. Il percorso di studi mi ha fornito una solida base sia nella pratica tecnica sia nell’interpretazione simbolica, plasmando il mio rigore e metodo. Mi viene spesso chiesto se mi considero un astrologo umanistico, junghiano, evolutivo o intuitivo, tra le varie etichette possibili. L'Astrologia basta a se stessa, non ha bisogno di altre discipline per essere legittimata. Non m'interessa, quindi, definirmi come un particolare “tipo” di astrologo, le etichette tendono a limitare ciò' che, invece, considero una relazione viva e in continua trasformazione con questa disciplina. L’astrologia è una meravigliosa compagna di vita, e ciò che mi ha dato con tanta generosità cerco di trasmetterlo, a mia volta, agli altri.
